By guy grand so, you are thinking about becoming an adjuster but you are having a hard time figuring out how much it is really going to cost you to get into the industry?  you are not alone. There are not many places out there that will tell you about all of the costs associated with trying to break into the industry. Licenses, tests, certifications, travel, training, field tools, apprenticing…for many adjusters, it ends up being much more than they first thought when they signed up for that $350 “adjuster training†course. Don’t get frustrated. If you know what you are getting into it is well worth it, but don’t be fooled into thinking that one simple course is all you are going to need.
Most useful comment may 3, 2017 i don’t usually write reviews, but i really felt that people need to know about this dishonest business called adjuster pro. I heard about ap through someone at worley.

There aren't as of yet, many books out there about becoming a cat adjusterso i'd say this book is one of the best out there. With that being said, i was quite disappointed to see how short the book was, and written with very large text. Really, the information found within the book was great, but i would have felt like i got my money's worth, had the book been priced at around $20.

26 dec many people have asked me how i have become an insurance adjuster and how to get started. I’m not even sure at this point and time if i’m the right person to ask about this particular topic but the steps that i have taken to work over 500+ claims for one of the nation’s largest insurance carriers. Where to begin. Well the first thing that got me into the adjusting concept was i was selling roofs in 2010 for a company which turned out to not to be great but i will post about that later in the roofing blog. The first step to becoming any sort of good insurance adjuster (not that i’m good) is to have experience in the field. When you get your first adjusting claim their is no training manual or someone to hold your hand; if you don’t want to look or feel like an idiot i would suggest getting a background in construction. The best way to do this is find a hail storm in your state, go to craigslist. Com , find the city where the storm hit, and there is about 500 companies trying to hire you. I’m not going to suggest one company or the other i can do that in my restoration forum later.
All of the information found in the book is readily available for free if you search online. On the other hand, having lists of companies, websites, and necessary steps and supplies required in becoming a cat adjuster were very convenient. I just question as to whether or not it was $60-$70 worth of useful information.
