After timmy turner successfully defeated vicky in the past and changed the bad future into a good one, twenty years passed by and timmy is revealed to have two children, a son and a daughter. The children bear a resemblance to vicky's little sister tootie among other characters, meaning that these children would be vicky's nephew and niece if tootie married timmy. Some fans even believe that vicky herself could have been the mother, and even if so, it's possible that her children could have inherited genes from their grandmother. The two children are babysat by a robot that looks and acts like vicky, so it is likely that timmy has some connection with her in the future, or has at the very least reconciled with her. It is also possible, even implied in some of adult timmy's dialogue, that because he forgot about his fairies in his later life, timmy eventually assumed that it was his parents, and by extension vicky, who helped shape him into becoming a responsible adult instead of his fairies, and therefore he believes that hiring a babysitter that resembles vicky will help shape his own children into responsible adults too. Vicky's exact connection with the robot is unknown, but if she makes and designs these robots, she is likely very rich and successful like she always wanted to be.

Vicky is a very two-faced person, when it comes to adults (namely parents), she is a seemingly sweet girl who has a continuous liking for cash, but once all parents are gone, her true colors are revealed. She tortures timmy so quickly that it takes one second to wreck the place and knowing that timmy's parents are nitwits, it's easy to fool them. Timmy has always wanted payback and has always wanted to get rid of her, but whenever this dream comes true, timmy must always revert it as something will always appear or chime in to make timmy realize he actually needs her (such as his parents hiring a worse babysitter). The parents of children and other rich people pay her wads of cash through her babysitting. She has been transformed more times than any other human except timmy turner.

I am 16 years old and have been using the bambino app for over a year. It is a good way to connect with parents in your area. Unfortunately it is a bit biased and parents tend to be favored. A grown-up version of vicky appears in the extended edition of " a fairly odd movie: grow up, timmy turner! ". Vicky, now 29 years old, runs a daycare service with a sign with her name on it; timmy collides into this sign while riding a bike, which causes vicky to come out and scold timmy, who she still sees as a twerp even after thirteen years. The children under vicky's care at her daycare center are dressed like prisoners and seem to dislike vicky just as much as timmy. Timmy then entices the children to spray moldy rotten string cheese at vicky, allowing him to get away. Vicky is later seen eating a pizza when timmy crashes into her on a dirt bike, causing the pizza to splatter on her head. She angrily chases timmy down the street. When timmy gets surrounded by both vicky and jorgen von strangle who is trying to make him grow up by hitting him with a love arrow, vicky throws her pizza at jorgen, causing him to fire his love arrow at vicky who immediately falls in love with jorgen. Vicky then spends the rest of the movie chasing after jorgen although jorgen manages to get away from her by hiding behind a tree. As revealed in abra-catastrophe!, vicky first started babysitting timmy turner when he was eight and she was fourteen. Timmy had found a flier advertising vicky's babysitting service, and panicked and called this number when his parents tricked him into thinking he was being left alone. When vicky arrived, she convinced timmy's parents that they could use a babysitter so that they would have time for each other to go out and do adult things. From that point on, vicky tormented timmy whenever she babysat him, and his parents would continue to spend time away, leaving him under vicky's cruel care. Timmy became so miserable that he needed fairy godparents. With them, he was able to use magic to get even with vicky. Even with his fairies, timmy is still challenged by vicky over the course of the show. She has also worked other non-babysitting jobs, usually if they involve hurting others or holding sharp objects. In most of her early appearances, the simple act of saying her name would cause thunder and lightning to flash in the sky.

I think it for the most part it is very well designed, it is very easy to accept or deny jobs, you can update your profile easily, and i love the rewards system. However, i think an improvement that would be really helpful on the sitters’ end would be to have an availability feature. Currently you can only switch your profile on and off, but i would love to be able to set time availabilities so that parents can’t request me during a time i’m not available, and maybe even a calendar where you can mark off days that you are unavailable for vacation purposes or prior commitments. Many parents request far in advance or for during the day, and i always feel bad denying parents because i have prior commitments, or because i am at my full time job during the times they are requesting. Some sort of calendar/time availability feature would be extremely helpful and a great addition to an already great app!.

The first stanza of this poem is constructed of ten lines. The first five lines describe the situation that the babysitter is in and the next five lines describe what she is feeling in this situation. The title of the poem projects the image of a care giver who is watching and caring for someone else’s child in the absence of his/her parent; there is an understood notion of trust and responsibility with this job. The very first line however, informs the readers that there is something amiss as the babysitter claims she is “sitting in the wrong room”. Lines two and three go on to further explain the situation of the babysitter, by letting the reader know that she has “the wrong baby” and she doesn’t “love this baby”. By claiming to have the wrong baby the babysitter is heavily implying that she has a baby of her own and she is not with that baby, but instead she is babysitting; perhaps that is the reason she is unable to connect to this baby and love him/her. The reader can begin to build the babysitter’s story at this point and presume that this babysitter is a mother who is working to offer care to someone else’s baby (perhaps to make some extra money for her own child) and for this reason it is hard for her to connect to this baby and actually love him/her. She misses her own baby, this is suggested by her confessing that she has the “wrong baby”; perhaps she feels guilty for caring for someone else’s child when she has a baby or children of her own to care for. There is obvious tension between the baby and the babysitter. The reader is also told that the baby is sleeping and “is a perfectly acceptable child”. Here, the babysitter is letting the readers know that there is no fault of the baby in the lack of connection. The baby is just like any other baby, sleeping away not knowing the absence of her parents yet.

Every child care job description varies slightly, and the line between nanny vs. Babysitter can really be more like a huge gray area. The key lies in the job description you create for your child’s caregiver, which is then agreed upon by the caregiver you hire.

“i think any child care provider you have in your home should fill the description that you want them to,” says rachel charlupski, founder of the babysitting company. They don’t bother to check on the background and childcare experience of the babysitter. Just so their kids have a babysitter, parents settle for just anyone who’s available. Never mind if she’s not trained for any kind of emergency or if she hardly has any kind of childcare experience. She’s there and she’s available. So, she’s hired. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know a thing about babysitting.

Prev article next article babysitting by gillian clarke is a two stanza free verse poem about a babysitter who is having a hard time babysitting a child because of her own fears of abandonment. The entire poem is focused around the emotions of the babysitter and the emotions she projects on the baby. The babysitter obviously feels for the baby girl and feels guilty for not being able to connect with her because she is not her mother; possibly because it reminds her of her own baby/child which in turn strikes her into feeling insecure about leaving her own child(ren) elsewhere to care for a stranger’s child. You can read the full poem here.

When both my parents go out in the evening another adult always comes over to look after us. But why is this called babysitting?  its a rubbish word. There are at least 3 big problems with the name ‘babysitter’: one, it scares little children. My friend zac is only 4 and when someone came to look after him who said they were a ‘babysitter’ he said ‘do you really sit on babies?’  he was very worried to have someone looking after him who regularly sits on babies.
