Trigonometry (rise over run, solve for side x, etc); other geometry (linear feet around a circumference, etc); ohms law (voltage current power); load calculation (see code); simple algebra ("mental math" or as complex multiplication, division and their friends as you can solve in your head quickly and accurately to minimize opportunities to leave your phone in a crawlspace and enhance efficiency and reputation overall); most importantly time calculation like "if i start at 6a, how many hours do i have to work before my union break and how many hours from the end of that break until the beginning of lunch? how much money did i make during that period and what is 40% of that subtotal so that i know the amount i'll be taking home after the (ex and/or)wife and kids take their share?".

The worldskills standards specification specifies the knowledge, understanding and specific skills that underpin international best practice in technical and vocational performance. It should reflect a shared global understanding of what the associated work role(s) or occupation(s) represent for industry and business.
