Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting existing artwork like a company logo, name or team emblem into a stitch file that an embroidery machine can swe on a fabric. Before any design can be embroidered, it must be digitized. Digitizing is a complex process that is both art and science. In digital embroidery we use polyester shiny thread and it reflect light. The best way of avoiding puckering on your embroidery products is using a stabilizer. Now some of you will say that it doesn`t work. And even after using it you saw puckers. The question is what type of stabilizer did you use? for light designs with less shading and layering, the tear-away stabilizer will be the most suitable. But if you work with more complex designs the “tear-away” will be too weak. Then you should use cut-away one. Using of this stabilizer with medium-weight fabric and complex designs can prevent your embroidery from puckering. But if you are using lighter designs, you can choose different type of fabrics and tear-away stabilizer.

If you are using a combination sewing and embroidery machine, there are some adjustments that need to be made when switching functions. Before you begin, ensure that the machine is turned off and unplugged from the circuit. First, switch out the presser foot to a darning or freehand embroidery foot. You can also just attach this foot, lower the feed dogs, and use your hands to embroider freehand. To use computerized embroidery, you will need an embroidery frame, they come in various sizes. The larger your embroidery design, the larger the frame you will need. You may also need to switch out the arm. To do this, simply pull out and click in the embroidery arm, which is attached to the frame.

Firstly you need to import some form of artwork into the embroidery software. You then have these options: 1. Use the auto-digitizing function to convert the image into embroidery 2. Manually digitize to create more complex and intricate embroidery designs with full control 3. Combine the two methods when you combine the first two methods, some parts of the embroidery design you will create with the auto-digitizing tool and then manually digitize areas to add more detail.
